Sakura has to wake up early as she is in charge of cleaning up her classroom. On the way to school, she takes a detour to visit Yukito at his house. Yukito gives Sakura some flowers to decorate her classroom with, and already Sakura can tell today will be a great day.

Shortly after Sakura arrives first to class, Tomoyo shows up second with some peculiar footage she shot from the night before. It turns out Tomoyo videotaped Sakura flying with the fly card with Cerberus at her side! Naturally, Sakura lets out a "Hoe!" in confusion, and Cerberus suddenly pops out of her backpack thinking a Clow card is nearby and Sakura's in trouble!

Outside on a blanket, Cerberus is given the nickname of "Kero-chan", much to his own protest, and Sakura shows her magic to Tomoyo. Tomoyo thinks the entire Cardcaptor idea is very heroic and amazing, and inquires whether or not Sakura has any special "poses" like all magical girls should.

The next day, Sakura arrives at school to see a large crowd of students near the gate. It turns out someone took desks and piled them up outside, and even worse, they did the same in the classrooms! When Tomoyo arrives, she thinks it's the work of a Clow card. Even still, classes are cancelled, and the students have to re-arrange the desks the way they should be on their own.

In Sakura's room, Kero-chan agrees it's the work of a Clow card. He wants Sakura to go to the school that night to investigate, even though poor Sakura is scared out of her wits. Tomoyo wants to come along to videotape Sakura's heroism, and Tomoyo and Kero-chan start talking about special poses again.

That night at the school, Tomoyo pulls up in a black car with a van and her family bodyguards. The van is filled with many magnificant costumes. Tomoyo wants Sakura to get changed because "When you are doing special things, you must wear special clothes!" Kero-chan agrees that Sakura must get into the role of a Cardcaptor, or otherwise, she'll lose the mental battle against the card.

After Sakura gets changed and she, Tomoyo and Kero are standing within the walls of the school, a giant statue flies around the corner and almost crushes them! A shadow is carrying it and throwing it at them, and it turns out it's the work of the Shadow card. Sakura asks Kero-chan to stay with Tomoyo as she runs into the center of the forming mass of shadows and uses Windy to try and dissipate the huge form coming down over her. But there's just too many shadows! Sakura uses Fly to quickly get away from the blob. Kero-chan tells Tomoyo that if they could just get some light to hit the sea of shadows, only the true card would remain.

Just as things look grim for Sakura, all of the flood lights around the school's roof turn on and the shadows disappear! Tomoyo had turned them all on, allowing Sakura to seal the Shadow card by using Windy to tie it up.

The next day at school, Sakura tracks down Tomoyo in the audio/video room to give her a present of what looks to be baked goods as a thank-you. However, Tomoyo is doing the weirdest thing when Sakura gets there! Tomoyo is watching the footage of Sakura she had taped from the night before. Tomoyo wants Sakura to inform her every time she goes out to capture Clow cards, to let her tape every capture, and to let her be her official costume supplier and maker!
