Sakura is your average 10 year-old girl, until she stumbles across a mysterious book in her basement with only the words, "THE CLOW", written on it. After opening it and breaking its seal, Sakura's mission is to collect all the cards inside of that book, before they wreak havoc over the planet!

Now, Sakura isn't your average shoujo heroine - unlike other heroines from other manga and anime, Sakura is completely normal, putting aside her magical powers. She isn't loud, a crybaby, too proud or excessive in any way - she's only a carefree, athletic kid who just happens to have been destined for magical greatness. Her character evolves during the whole series - whether its taking up more responsibilities or becoming more aware of her true feelings, Sakura is an amazing girl who's captured the hearts of many.
