Sakura is the Princess of Clow Country and heir to the royal throne. She is kind and thoughtful, friendly and well-loved with her townspeople. Her brother, King Touya, always picks fights with her, but both he and the High Priest Yukito are always looking out for her.

Sakura possesses a strange and mystical power that Fei Wang Reed describes as the most precious and powerful of them all. She is immensely strong in her spiritual sense, and emits a very strong aura. King Touya, High Priest Yukito and Syaoran are all witnesses to her powers. As a child, she was able to talk to non-human things such as plants and trees, and also possesses the ability to talk to the dead. This is merely a pint of what her power really is. Her soul and the powers within it are presented in a delicate set of wings, or "tsubasa" in Japanese. When her wings emerged in Chapitre.1, Syaoran's interference with Fei Wang Reed's plans scattered the wings' feathers into different dimensions and worlds, and left Sakura lifeness.

As she slowly regains her feathers, Sakura still emits the personality she had before, as Syaoran remarks. She readily offers her help and support towards the journey to find her feathers - and of course you'd want one of the most powerful people across the dimensions to help you out, right?
