Piffle Country

Welcome to Piffle Country! This rustling, bustling city you see before you is the heart of the industrious and technologically advanced civilization known as Piffle. You will find that many of the inhabitants of this peaceful nation use cars, love to shop at the many stores and boutiques, and even take part in flying "dragonflies" and planes! This fast-paced city is interconnected, making traveling quick, easy and fun.

Dragonfly Race

The Dragonfly Race is the premence of the group actually being in Piffle. It's quite a dangerous race that takes place in the air on "dragonflies" - personal flying ships, or pods. Though dragonflies do in fact have their own motors, they also rely on the wind currents to take them along. This is where the danger comes into play... the dragonflies can literally be at the mercy of the wind if the weather gets bad.

But back to the race. The Dragonfly Race's first prize winner will receive none other than Sakura's feather! But in the country of Piffle, this is seen as a limitless energy battery that could be put to use for any number of things. In the high-tech world of Piffle, it's easy to see how such an item would be very valuable.

Tomoyo is a main character in Piffle, known as Daidouji Tomoyo, the president of Piffle Princess Corporation. She is beautiful, young and very successful. Her company is a prominent figure in Piffle and is actually the sponsor of the Dragonfly Race. Tomoyo is absolutely infatuated with Sakura and claims her as her "female star", who she frequently films during the Dragonfly Race. Tomoyo is truly a princess where ever she goes, as the cover for chapitre 72 suggests.
