Sakura is still sleeping as Syaoran and the others head out into town to look for her feathers. It seems that two people are watching Sakura, and note that a human heart, even moreso a pure one, holds great powers. Soon, Sakura awakens to her new surroundings, changes clothes (after going through Arashi's X wardrobe!) and leaves the building.

After Fay talks to Syaoran about how personalities won't be affected as they see different incarnations of people, Arashi runs into the gang and tells them that Sakura is missing. Impulsively, Syaoran runs all over the town trying to look for her... While Sakura is 'greeted' by two members of the crabby (for lack of better name) kudan gang and is taken to the okonimiyaki diner where Touya and Yukito work. Masayoshi spots them, and, using his kudan's special abilities, finds the Syaoran-gumi and tells them where he saw Sakura.

Meanwhile, Sakura's kidnappers bring her to their hideout, only to find out that the rest of their crew quit and ditched them. Almost immediately, Sakura cheers up the two and they begin to realise how wrong they were. At the same time, Shougo, the opposition's captain, arrived - so the other leader decided to give him his turf, explaining how wrong he had been. Afterwards, they look up to see Sakura on top of a crane -- after Shougo takes her on a ride through the skies, Sakura takes a trip of her own using her own powers. And just in the nick of time, Syaoran and the gang come to the pier! Seeing Sakura falling from the sky, Syaoran almost easily jumps up to catch her.

At Sorata and Arashi's inn, Sakura is sleeping once again. Fay tells Syaoran that Sakura, even subconsciously, wants to find her own feathers, and that her true nature shows. Syaoran then promises Sakura that he'll definitely find her feathers.
