The battle between Syaoran and Shougo begins! After some hard hits, Shougo pulls out his secret weapon and gets his kudan to submerge Syaoran and his kudan into a rush of water! Although Syaoran manages to get through it, the Hansin Castle - with Primera, Mokona and Masayoshi still clinging to it - is swayed by the mere force of the water! While Masayoshi's kudan is able to save him, Masayoshi decides to take it upon himself to save Mokona and Primera... to be strong like Syaoran, who can be strong as ever and not even come from their country.

Influenced by its masters new aspirations, Masayoshi's kudan becomes stronger and stronger! Suddenly, Mokona realises that it's Masayoshi's kudan that holds Sakura's feather! By the sheer presence of Sakura's feather, it goes berserk and begins to destroy the city! So Syaoran steps up, and goes after Masayoshi's kudan. Kurogane warns him that if he doesn't go all out to fight the kudan, he'd die... But Syaoran assured him that as long as there was something he had to do, he wouldn't. Although it pained Masayoshi a little while for Syaoran to grab the feather, he endured it, and they both got what they wanted.

At the inn, Syaoran returned Sakura's feather, hoping she would wake up. And when she did... She simply looked at him and said, "Who are you?" Obviously surprised and thrown off, Syaoran still managed to introduce himself and their journey. He then excused himself, and stood in the rain. Inside, Sakura remembered the warm touch that was holding her while she was asleep. The two mysterious people watching them continued to observe them, and the man declared that they wouldn't be as lucky in their next quest, because the power to cross dimensions would be his - no matter how much blood needs to be shed.

The next day in the okonomiyaki restaurant, Shougo met up with Masayoshi, Syaoran and the others to scout Masayoshi for their kudan team. Everyone seeing them off, Mokona sucked the gang in and off they went to the next world!
