Syaoran takes the beatings from the townspeople, so that Chunyan and Sakura don't get hurt. But they're just illusions, because Syaoran, although painful, knows that Sakura wouldn't call him just by his name anymore, so he begins to fight back! And, just in time, Chunyan comes with her hijutsu mirror to unbind the townspeople from the spell! Sorata then rounds everyone up and leaves the castle, leaving the Ryoshi defenseless! Fay and Kurogane arrive as the Ryoshi begins to tempt Chunyan by saying he could bring back her mother, but Chunyan knew her mother was dead and that she couldn't come back.

Kiishimu then comes to help out the gang and catches the Ryoshi. She then mentions that she has a large debt towards the Ryoshi and his son for locking her up in the castle. Kiishimu then turns to Chunyan and tells her to become strong like herself and her mother. She then disappears with the Ryoshi in a black cloud, returning the townspeople to their original forms and leaving Sakura's feather behind. Returning back to Sakura, she has a memory of her birthday party, filled with special dishes and cakes. She then talks to an empty chair about how happy she is that "~~~" could attend, and feels really happy, but wonders why no one was there. Syaoran catches her and feels relieved that another feather had been returned to her..

Then the person who was watching them, named Fei Wang Reed (from the eyecatch), mentions that the powers to cross dimensions already exist in some people - the people that transported Syaoran and the others - but the ones hidden in the Clow Ruins are far more powerful... so powerful, that those powers can change the world. And because he's so long awaited to grasp that power, nothing can stop him from having it. The other being that's usually watching with him walks up to a chamber with someone inside, and says that his time will come in the future, whether or not the "awakening" was for his benefit.

Back in Ryonfi, the celebrations have started to celebrate the overthrowing of the Ryoshi! Chunyan turns to Syaoran and the group, and thanks them for their help. She then promises that she'll become a hijutsu user that even her mother would be proud of! A group of young guys come to town claiming they're Miteshu, but Chunyan thinks that no children could ever be working for the government. Mokona jumps on them and asks them a bunch of Mito Koumon questions, then asks for the seal they always carry around! And, sure enough, they're carrying the crest of the Miteshu! The Miteshu then explain that a barrier was put around town to prevent hijutsu users from coming in, and have the wounds to prove it.

Now Syaoran and the others are ready to leave for the next world, and thank Chunyan in return. Where to next, Mokona?
