First Aired: July 2, 2005

Syaoran and the others have arrived into Jade Country, a quite frigid region. In the local tavern, the barkeep tells his customers of the legend of a golden-haired princess, who suddenly came into power with a special feather, and kidnapped many children who were called by the feather. And, while it may sound like a Fayrytale, they're the true events from three hundred years ago - and the legend is coming back to life, as more children are kidnapped. Now there's really reason to believe that this magical feather, may be one of Sakura's!

The gang arrives in the town of Spirit, where the townspeople are suspicious of outsiders that may come for their children. Syaoran then tells the townspeople that they're traveling through different countries to write a book! The townspeople are then stopped by the town's doctor, Kyle Rondart, who gives them a place to stay. The town's mayor and large property owner, Mr. Grosum, then interrupt them, warning Kyle-sensei* about the risk he was taking by taking in Syaoran and the others. Kyle-sensei tells them that twenty children have disappeared, and Sakura suddenly Faynts.

When Sakura wakes up, she sees the golden-haired princess in the streets. And the next morning, another child has gone missing! When Sakura tells them that she saw the princess, everyone automatically put them as their prime suspects! Back at Kyle-sensei's mansion, he tells the Syaoran-tachi that the legend is extremely similar to actual facts from historical books. Perking Syaoran's interest, he borrows Kyle-sensei's copy of the historical book of Jade.

The maps in the book lead the group to a castle with a moat river. There's no bridge though, so how can the children reach the castle? Fay spots Mr. Grosum also watching the castle. On their way back, they see that Kyle has helped a little girl who was traumatized by the disappeance of her friend. In the book, Syaoran finds information on Princess Emeraude's reign over Jade three hundred years ago, but no information on a feather.

Sakura still feels odd because all of her memories haven't returned to her yet, but Syaoran tells her that he still believes what she's saying. Kyle comes to inform the two that he has to lock their doors as ordered by the townspeople. In her room, Sakura tells herself to stay awake in the case that something happened, for the sake of the children. Once again, Princess Emeraude appears! The children begin stepping out of their houses, and Sakura gets out from the window, and gives chase before she loses sight of them! The children walk to the castle and then begin walking on the river to get through! But Sakura can't hold out any longer, and Faynts! Princess Emeraude says that she's been waiting for her for a very long time, and approaches Sakura.

Syaoran and the others awaken to find Sakura missing! And along with that, an angry mob comes and says that more children have disappeared! They begin blaming Sakura and attack the guys, who easily counter them. Syaoran tells the townspeople that he'll find their children and why they've gone missing... and he'll find the person most important to him.
