There's no magical powers in Jade, so there's a slim chance that any magician or magical being, like the princess in the legend, could've abducted Sakura or the children. The townspeople can't track down the children either, because the snow's covered their footprints overnight. Meanwhile, Sakura's been chained and imprisoned, but finds all of the missing children!

After what Kyle-sensei told them, Mokona, Fay and Kurogane begins to suspect Mr. Grosum. After Mokona does a quick B&E, the group infiltrates Mr. Grosum's house to look for information! Unfortunately, Mr. Grosum catches them - but lets them off the hook and lends Syaoran his copy of the historical book that Kyle-sensei had, and Kurogane

Sakura yanks the chain binding her foot off a bed off, and vows to rescue the children that are waiting for her! In the meantime, Syaoran finds that Mr. Grosum's copy of the historical book has more pages than Kyle's copy. He also spots a child pointing to a non-existent black bird from a window, then is taken away by Kyle. Syaoran has a talk with Kyle and says that Princess Emeraude wasn't the cause of the disappearances, and will be on the lookout at Mr. Grosum's mansion.

As it snowed in the evening, Kyle sees a cloaked figure walk by, and runs outside himself. In the water flow control room by the castle, Kurogane stops the flow of the water. Meanwhile, Sakura's freed herself from the room and meets the children and Princess Emeraude in the room with her feather. Princess Emeraude tells Sakura the true story of what happened three hundred years ago: that there truly was a feather with mysterious powers that came to the castle, and because so many wanted it, many battles ensued in the land, and killed the King and Queen. Soon afterwards, a sickness that only plagued children reaped the towns. When Princess Emeraude learned that the feather could cure them, she gathered all the children and sealed the feather off with the remaining magics left in the kingdom. She also told Sakura that she wasn't responsible for the kidnappings, but of another, and came to the town to try and stop him. The children then called with Sakura to re-attain the feather, which can be unsealed with the callings of pure hearts, and got one of her feathers back.

At the river of the castle, Kyle's just been caught by Syaoran and the others!
