Manga Correspondance: TSUBASA Chapitres 29.5 - 32 First Aired: July 16, 2005 It seems that Kyle-sensei's been behind all the kidnappings after all! But of course, Kyle denied this -- he even mentions that he wanted to guide a lost child home. Too bad, Kyle-sensei, because that lost child is actually Mokona using one of its 108 Secret Techniques: Super Transformation! Syaoran
reveals that the townspeople are aware that he uses hypnosis for the children
before they're abducted, as Syaoran deducted from Grosum-san's missing children
list. All the missing children saw non-existent black birds, and they'd follow
the bird on snowy nights so that it seemed that they disappeared. Kyle tried to
turn the blame to Grosum-san's missing list, just when Grosum-san himself shows
up! He made the list by asking people in town, then lent the list to Syaoran and
the others with a copy of his historical records. It seems that Kyle-sensei
ripped out some pages from his copy! Kyle finally admits to it, saying that he
needed the children to retrieve something powerful for him from inside the
castle.Kyle asks why Syaoran kept his eye on him. The answer was simple: because although no one knew, he knew that the feather belonged to Sakura. When Syaoran asks him where Sakura and the children were and who told him about the feather, Kyle made a run for it and ran to the castle on water, although he was running over an submerged path, so Syaoran and the others began to chase after him. As Sakura begins to exit the castle, Syaoran and the others have entered the
castle and have found the children! While the townspeople help the children out,
Sakura's just been seen by Kyle-sensei! Before she takes his hand, Princess
Emeraude tells her that he's actually the villain that's caused the problems.
Kyle figures that she's found him out, and yanks the chains on her foot as she
tries to escape. Just as Syaoran walks in, Kyle brings out his pistol and
threatens to shoot Sakura if she doesn't give him the feather! She refuses,
because it's her belonging -- so as Kyle shoots, Syaoran jumps in the way and
gets grazed by the bullet as he leaps to save Sakura! The castle is starting to collapse -- it seems that the water gate has broken down, thanks to Kurogane braking the panel. The water washed away Kyle's pistol, as well, and separates from Kurogane, Fay, Mokona and the others, who escape the castle. As Syaoran and Sakura begin to exit, Kyle pulls out his dagger and begins to chase them! Syaoran and Sakura are at a split path, but Syaoran has memorized the castle's blueprints, and going straight would bring them to the surface -- but that path has now been blocked by a sudden collapse of rocks! Kyle's just found them, but Princess Emeraude knows another way out, so she begins to lead them. She tells them that there's a secret door in the room, so Syaoran kicks it down and they get out just as Kyle finds the room! Unfortunately for Kyle, Princess Emeraude's statue is off kilter, and... Outside the castle, Kurogane, Fay, Mokona and the townspeople await Syaoran and
Sakura. Kurogane closes his eyes and says that they're already here, and just at
that moment, Syaoran and Sakura emerge from the water! When Grosum-san asks what
happened to Kyle, Fay responds that he might've suffered the same fate as the
castle. Sakura's just Faynted, but she's the one that found her own feather.
Princess Emeraude comes to break the seal of the feather and returns the feather
to her, and tells her that she's glad to have returned the feather and that
Sakura saved the children. With that, she can finally have her rest, but, before
she leaves, tells Sakura to be careful and that someone's been constantly
watching them.Back in town, all the children have returned their parents. As the Mayor, Grosum-san and one of the townspeople go to thank Syaoran and the others, they find a book and a note that asks for them to tell the true legend of Princess Emeraude. Syaoran
and the others begin to question what Princess Emeraude meant by saying that
there's someone who's been constantly watching them, and how Kyle knew of the
feather. It seems that there's someone meddling in their journey! Looking
onwards not so far away, the barkeep is reporting that Kyle had Fayled, and that
the feather in Jade has been returned to the Clow Princess. Fei Wang says that
he's not content with the amount of trouble he's been causing, but he finds
comfort in knowing that it's all for the powers he'll be receiving in the end.
Off to the next world -- where to next, Mokona?
