Shogo is very upset at the sight before him. The Hansin Palace is partly in ruin and instead of preparing for her concert, Primera has created a war zone. Primera immaturily protests at Shogo. Primera's fanboys begin to cry and hold up banners of L-O-V-E. It was Primera's intention to use Masayoshi (who was mistaken for Syaoran) as a ploy so Shogo would give her more attention.

Suddenly, Mokona goes "Mekyo"! It senses Sakura's feather! Could the feather be within Shogo's kudan? In order to find out, Syaoran accepts a one-on-one challenge. During the battle, Syaoran checks the status of Sakura's feather, which Mokona says is still concealed. The battle ensues and with a renewed sense of vigor, Syaoran strikes Shogo, knocking him off his feet. In retaliation, Shogo has his kudan strike with an immense water attack.

Beneath the waves, Syaoran and his kudan valiantly defend against the attack. Reemerging unscathed, the two stand triumphantly. Masayoshi looks on in awe, wishing he could be as strong as Syaoran. Suddenly, Masayoshi screams as waves of rubble speed toward him and Primera. With his desire to protect Primera, his formerly infantile kudan transforms into a giant. Mokona yells he has located Sakura's feather! It is within Masayoshi's kudan!
