As food sizzles, Syaoran expresses his gratitude for Masayoshi's help. Masayoshi apologizes for having such a weak kudan, but Syaoran insists it is his spirit and desire to help that makes him strong. Amidst this exchange of sentimentality, Shogo appears with his gang. He asks Syaoran about his injuries and mentions that, despite their inconclusive finish, it was clear that Syaoran won their previous battle. After asking how much longer he plans on staying in Hansin, Shogo shakes Syaoran's hand and says he would like to show him around. Unfortunately, the group really must be going to the next world. Masayoshi wishes Syaoran and his friends well... and amazingly, Masayoshi is invited into Shogo's team!

Back at Sorata's house, Syaoran informs Arashi and Sorata that he is leaving. He has accomplished all needed to in Hansin, and must move on. Mokona teleports the group after Sorata and Arashi have been thanked for their hospitality. Syaoran sees that his kudan will not be taking the journey with him, and thanks it for all the help.

Suddenly, the group finds themselves in the center of a marketplace. One particularly brutish man demands to know where they came from and tries to manhandle Sakura. Syaoran quickly dropkicks the man in the face. Everyone in the crowded market seems astonished! The man yells at Syaoran, "Do you realize who you just kicked!?"
